U-ID FOR PUBLICATIONS

Imagine if your readers could easily access any article or any other digital asset.

U-ID solution would allow you to:

• provide a link between your paper publications and your online publications
• easily reference any article or any other digital asset
• charge for access to the asset

The implementation consists of two parts (if your publication has only digital format, then the first part is not required):

1. Paper publication
• You would print asset U-ID document number in paper publications
2. Online
• You would associate asset U-ID document number with the URL of the asset on your web site (If it the asset is not available online, you can deposit the article/asset on U-ID)
• You would provide a way to enter U-ID document number on the home page of your web site. After a visitor enters asset U-ID number she/he will be redirected to the online version of the asset either on your web site or to the deposited copy at U-ID.COM
• Your assets will be accessible by entering U-ID document numbers at U-ID.COM as well
