How about privacy issues?

All the information you provide (including address, credit card number, etc.) is securely protected by us. We don't share any information with ANY advertisers, marketing research firms, or mailing list vendors.

Do I need to do anything after adding my online resource to the U-ID Registry?

Yes, we have two recommendations:

  1. Put assigned U-ID number in META tags in the page you registered, i.e.

    <meta name="U-ID" content="1208/1" />

    This will allow future version of Internet browsers to save this number in addition to URL and use it in case URL is not available or as a primary discovery source for the URL.

  2. Mention U-ID number on the page you've registered. By putting U-ID number on your web page you indicate to your visitors that you registered resource with U-ID.COM. We recommend putting the link in the following format: U-ID: 1208/1. You can copy and paste the following paragraph to create the link in the recommended format:

    U-ID: <a href="http://u-id.com/?u-id=1208/1">1208/1</a>
